about us
established in 2020.
The Ladies' First Project is a student-run nonprofit organization that combats gender inequality in education. We combat stereotypes to make education accessible to girls of third world countries, who are unable to learn. The name, The Ladies' First Project, originates and was inspired by the controversial saying that is commonly misused for intentions of social mannerism. Our organization highlights this saying, specifically, in the light for girls to grow and prosper in a critical human right that they are limited from, education.
Ladies' First applies to the following campaigns that female education must be
prioritized. Unfortunately, many girls today, around the world, do not have the ability nor the freedom to learn. Specifically, India is one such country in the world where gender disparities prohibit girls from having an education. The Ladies' First Project believes strongly in that girls' education matters and every child should receive the same opportunities to learn. Education not only opens so many doors in life, but it also gives individuals a voice to stand against oppression and fight for what they believe in. In the end, we should all be given the human right to voice and express.
